This list is of course appalling and completely against children's freedom of expression and their human rights. It i of great worry to most parents to think that an innocent remark will put a naive and vulnerable child on such a list. Perhaps one of the newspapers could look into this matter. I shall be seeing David Cameron about this issue and will keep Parents Outloud posted as to his comments and what if anything he will do about this, should he be in power. Susan. I feel this is also only usually aimed at English children in general too, making them the unjust Bogeymen in all of this. i.e. If black children are pretending to be Boxing Legends in a playground and an English child joined in and said "I am Mike Tyson" the black children would no doubt state that the English child could not be as he is white, or at the least the English child would be the focal point of sniggering, laughing and pointing etc for obviouse logical reasons. Nothing would usually come of this scenario, any exceptions to the rule would be far and few between as this is thildren at an early age showing attension to detail, using common sense, becoming aware of diverse identities and facts of life etc and so the same should aplly when English children are playing Robin Hood and a black child joins in and says "I am Friar Tuck" the English children should also be able to point out that this would be factually incorrect to have a black person acting as Friar Tuck as Friar tuck was an Englishman with white being part of his English ethnic make up, which is fact, there were no black people in England in the times of Robin Hood.... but it seems our English children are to be deemed criminal minded due to acknowledging a fact, called racist in a playground manner of name calling by adults!? and are to have their history distorted due to bias extreme PC rulings which is destorting and re-writing English history within the minds of all English children. This is detrimental to an English childs sense of identity and will also be detrimental to black and brown children as they will be seen as mainly protected by this PC ruling whilst English children will hardly be entertained by the PC rule which will then cause more segragation as ill fealing builds between different ethnic groups adding more tension to an already tension filled England. I can retell a event that happened when my daughter was in year 1. The girls were all playing happily in the playground pretending to be horses and fairies ect two girls wanted the role of a unicorn and one of the girls said you cant be a unicorn because you are black. The girl cried and went off to the teacher who then took the girl who said this into the school building and chastised her and then phoned the parents. They then had to take her home and try to explain to her in language that she could understand that what she said was wrong, after this conversation in which the parents had to open their daughters eyes to such a thing a racisim the girl still said but she cant be a unicorn because they are always white or pink in the stories! this child still could not understand what all the fuss was about. All we will end up doing is giving more savvy children amunition against each other and causing more trouble and less tolerance I think this will backfire on children in a very negative way.
