SAT’S RESULTS

4 August 2009 865 views 4 Comments

42-16225331Today’s results should be ignored by all teachers, parents, children and the country at large . They are an example of the Governments abuse of children to secure themselves headlines to justify the thousands of pounds wasted by them on the pointless exercise of the tests. Let our schools and LEA’s do the testing as in the past and stop the unnecessary stress for all those who are forced to play Ed Balls game. It is time education was returned to the experts, teachers.

No one is ignoring the pupils works they are absolute stars as are their teachers , but would it not be better to put their efforts into more constructive learning and not working to SATs . No one is “getting back at polititicans” but just occassionally they could listen to parents. The Scottish results came out today no STAs and hey the results are good, rather proves the point.

But by ignoring the SATs results you are ignoring the efforts of the teachers and students. It’s fine to campaign to change the way children are taught, but to do so retrospectively like this is disrespectful to teachers and pupils who have worked so hard to pass their exams. I actually agree that SATs should be scrapped, but don’t say we should ignore the results when so many have put so much work into doing well.

    Sat’s“?
    Governments abuse”?
    LEA’s“?
    Ed Balls games”?
“There are times when one wonders the logic in the way…”?
“I still have daily charge of a baby, a 2 year old, a 3year old boy who continually tries to cause himself serious harm (its called playing…”

Is this not a website for a pressure group that focuses on education?

Surely, Daniel, that’s merely testament to the poor job that the schools in our once-great-nation are doing, if even the true beating English hearts of ParentsOutloud can’t get it right?
