It's fine to campaign to change the way children are taught, but to do so retrospectively like this is disrespectful to teachers and pupils who have worked so hard to pass their exams. I actually agree that SATs should be scrapped, but don't say we should ignore the results when so many have put so much work into doing well. But by ignoring the SATs results you are ignoring the efforts of the teachers and students. No one is "getting back at polititicans" but just occassionally they could listen to parents. The Scottish results came out today no STAs and hey the results are good, rather proves the point.
