My views are that if they wish to protest do it on a Saturday so not interfering with school/college time.

Sadly their action reflects on all students many from 5 years upwards are working through their school in the community to make a difference, so let us ask all MPs to meet with their schools and bring forward to Parliament the outcomes in a correct and legal debate in the House.

Not an example for a respected and senior country to set to the world just another attempt by Unions to divide and rule the day. Teacher Unions have sunk to a new level of supporting this action.

In a matter of days, it is a half term if they want to protest how about doing it then?

What do they understand other than often falls reports they have read on social media .

Apologies if I am doing them an injustice but my experience suggests that to stop anything you must be prepared to give up many things this is particularly the case in climate change.

Taking endless showers, using bath oils, washing machines with detergents, using cars. Pre-packed food and fast foods with packaging and plastic. A plastic bottle of water discarded everywhere and so it goes on.

This is not a problem caused by those who grew up in 40’s 50’s and 60’s but it is their generation and their parents it started at the end of the 70 and goes on in the 80/90’s.

Parentoutloud support them all the way we are destroying our planet it is worldwide problem getting worse by the house but walking out of school is not the answer, will be seen as adding an extra day to half term holiday by thousands and unions corrupting young people’s future what has it achieved in Sweden and other countries. Nothing
